Classroom Supplies

  • Erasable white board

  • Pencil pouch or other container in which to keep supplies at work-space
  • Planer that contains both week at-a-glance and month at-a-glance
  • 2” binder with pockets
  • Loose-leaf lined paper
  • Dividers for binder
  • Ruler – clear plastic standard metric 12”
  • Avery Hi-Liter Chisel Tip Yellow (2)
  • Spiral notebook Poly 1 subject wide ruled 100ct (2)
  • Spiral notebook Poly 3 subject wide ruled (1)
  • Spiral graphing notebook Poly 1 subject 100ct (1)
  • Two pocket folders (2)
  • Headphones with a microphone (1)
  • Flair pens variety pack; 3 different colors (1)

** We will also be asking families to purchase books for book clubs at 3 or 4 different points in the year.

Violin/Viola

Cello/Bass

  • Instrument
  • Music stand – wire stands are a great option
  • Rock stop – anchor or rock stop

Band

  • Instrument rented from the music store (French Horn, Baritone, and Tuba will be rented from the school later)
  • Wire music stand

Additional Needs for Some Instruments

These can be purchased at any music store:

  • Flute:  No extra purchase required
  • Oboes:  Plastic Oboe Reed
  • Clarinets:  Vandoren Reeds – Beginners Size 2.0, Advanced Size 2.5
  • Saxophones:  Box of “Medium Soft” La Voz Reeds
  • Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba:  Bottle of Valve Oil
  • Percussion:  Percussion students will need to make sure they rent a full percussion kit (includes bells and a practice pad).  Mallets and snare drumsticks should be included.
