See below for requested supplies to help your fifth grader have a great year!

Classroom Supplies

  • Personal Erasable White Board
  • Expo Dry Erase markers for white board
  • Hi-Liter Chisel Tip Yellow Highlighter
  • Colored pencils
  • Marble composition book wide-ruled 100 sheet
  • Elmer’s Small Glue Stick (2)
  • Eraser pencil caps arrowhead
  • Post-it Sticky Notes 3x3 (1 pack of 3 or 4)
  • Flair Pen – black
  • Plastic Two pocket folder red
  • Plastic Two pocket folder yellow
  • Loose leaf paper wide ruled 150ct
  • Spiral graphing notebook Poly 1 subject 100ct (1)
  • Pencil pouch or other container in which to keep supplies at work space
  • 1” Binder Clear Cover w interior pockets
  • Headphones foam earpad 3.5mm plug (or earbuds)

** We will be asking families to purchase books for book clubs at 3 or 4 different points in the year

Mrs. Blitch will send out more information on instrument rental and sizing as we get closer to the start of the school year.  Please email @email if you have any questions.

Violin/Viola

Cello/Bass

  • Instrument

Band

  • Instrument rented from the music store (French Horn, Baritone, and Tuba will be rented from the school later)
  • Wire music stand

Additional Needs for Some Instruments

These can be purchased at any music store:

  • Flute:  No extra purchase required
  • Oboes:  Plastic Oboe Reed
  • Clarinets:  Vandoren Reeds – Beginners Size 2.0, Advanced Size 2.5
  • Saxophones:  Box of “Medium Soft” La Voz Reeds
  • Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba:  Bottle of Valve Oil
  • Percussion:  Percussion students will need to make sure they rent a full percussion kit (includes bells and a practice pad).  Mallets and snare drumsticks should be included.
