What is the PTA?

Most schools in the USA have a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). A PTA is a registered non-profit organization that operates according to the PTA bylaws. Its purpose is to provide the school added boosts in terms of human resources (parent volunteers), funds (for materials, supplies, field trips etc.), curriculum enhancement programs, organize social events, and more.

 

What does Haycock's PTA do?

Our PTA supports many programs at Haycock Elementary. They help raise money for the school in a variety of ways. The funds support curricular and extracurricular activities before, during, and after school.
