Next up in our Staff Spotlight series is the fun-loving Alex Mostoller. She has taught fourth grade for her entire tenure at Haycock!

How many years have you been a teacher?

This is my fifth year teaching. I have been at Haycock the whole time!

What do you love about Haycock?

I love working with my amazing 4th grade team as well as the other supportive staff and community members! 

What makes you smile or brings you calm?

Lakes, mountains, and watching or doing gymnastics make me smile and feel calm! 

What books are you currently reading?

Nothing at the moment but this summer I have a stack of fiction and a few biographies to read! I'm looking forward to reading them at the lake or by the pool! 

What other media entertains you?

Below Deck, The Amazing Race, romantic comedies, & gymnastics-related podcasts

What fills your time outside of school?

Doing gymnastics, coaching, water skiing, & snowboarding

When I was a kid, I was featured in a commercial doing a eurobungee that was shown in Singapore.
