Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) posted the results of its 2023-24 Family Engagement Survey, which includes information specific to Haycock Elementary School. 

We are proud that families at Haycock reported: 

• 97 percent responded, "My child feels safe at school."
• 97 percent responded, "This school is safe, meaning it provides an environment where students and staff are free from emotional or physical harm."
• 97 percent responded, "This school values the diversity of its community."
• 97 percent responded, "I feel regular school attendance supports my child's academic success."
• 97 percent responded, "There are opportunities for me to volunteer at my child’s school."

The feedback provided will help us strengthen family engagement and continue to foster a Caring Culture.

The survey was open from March 3 - April 3 and was available in 10 languages. All families in FCPS were asked to provide their feedback on their engagement at their child’s school to address the following topics: 

• Welcoming environment
• Communication
• Student success
• Advocacy
• Family and school partnerships
• Collaboration with the community
