Ms. Zacur Recognized as FCPS CARES of the Month Recipient!
Congratulations to Ms. Katie Zacur on her recognition as the September 2022 FCPS CARES Region 2 Recipient of the Month by the FCPS Department of Human Resources.

Below is the write-up submitted by a Haycock Elementary School parent.
Ms. Zacur is our daughter's special education teacher. She supported our daughter through an emotional time at school with her reading. That evening Ms. Zacur informed us as to what happened, how she supported our daughter, and some ideas of proactive strategies to implement. The days following, Ms. Zacur went out of her way to keep us abreast of our daughter's progress and well-being. We also know Ms. Zacur is covering two jobs and would like her to know we as a community, especially our family, are so grateful to have her as our child's teacher.
