Welcome to the new Haycock website!

Haycock is starting this school year by launching a new website. It is formatted in the same manner as the site adopted by Fairfax County Public Schools last summer.

If you are not able to find the information that you need on our homepage, you can use any of the following:

• Search function: similar to how you would search on Google,
• Top Menu: which links to main topics including About, Academics, Activities, and Contact information
• Full Menu: in the upper left-hand corner of the homepage, which shows all of the items under the main topics.

Our new site offers several important advantages. These include:

• Displays on mobile devices, an important feature because so many people access the site through cell phones.
• Enables the easy sharing of content between schools and FCPS. For example, emergency alerts about weather closures from the main site will be promptly displayed on our school site.
• Makes navigation of websites easier for parents as children progress through FCPS because all sites will feature similar menus.
• Features accessibility to all users with disabilities (508 compliant)

While we have tried to include all of the information that you've come to rely on, there may be something that we've forgotten. If this is the case, please feel free to contact Ben James, our School-Based Technology Specialist and web curator.
