McLean Project for the Arts (MPA) has an arts festival every year. During the festival, there is a children's art walk that features art work from Haycock and other neighborhood elementary schools. This year, the festival will be held at McLean Central Park on Sunday, October 1st from 10am-5pm. For more information, visit their website at https://mpaart.org/mpaartfest/

The artwork being displayed from Haycock this year is actually art work created last year from the following students:

• 2nd grade: Ava A, Nadia A, Sabrina R.
• 3rd grade: Leila P, Savannah S, Marisa M.
• 5th grade: Isabel C. 
• 6th grade: Talia B, Aileen Z
